KV-1 Model 1940 Heavy Tank

The KV-1 was designated as an assault tank and first saw service in Finland. Several hundred saw action against the German invasion in '41 and performed very well in some instances. Panzer II's and IV's with 50-75mm guns could barely penetrate the KV-1's and most of the losses were down to fuel running out or mechanical breakdown., as well as artillery and air attack. They continued to serve in the fight against the Germans but, as time went on, began to be superseded by the faster and more reliable T-34. This superbly detailed kit includes ammo crates, tarps and one crew. Each weighs 250g for postage charges.
