Sd.Kfz. 234/2 “Puma”

The final evolution of the Schwere Panzerspähwagen was the Sd.Kfz. 234 series of vehicles. In appearance these vehicles looked very similar to the other eight wheeled variants. The major difference was that there was no separate chassis. The vehicles featured a new diesel engine and had a single long mud guard the length of the vehicle within built stowage space. The armour thickness was increased to give the vehicles and crews more survivability in combat. The Puma had a larger closed turret and was armed with a 5cm KwK 39 L/60 tank gun and a co-axial MG. Weighing almost 12 tons, the Puma was the heaviest armoured car of the war yet could still achieve top speeds of over 50mph. The model is incredibly detailed and comes with a range of stowage and fuel cans.
