The 7TP was a Polish light tank that was the basic weapon of the Polish armed forces during the September campaign. 7TP stands for ‘7-tonne polish’. It was designed on the basis of French tank Vickers E, whose license Poland bought during interwar and was one of the first tanks in the world in which a diesel engine was applied. 7TP was better constructed than the corresponding German light tanks Pz. Kpfw. I and Pz. Kpfw. II.
This model has a rotating turret with a cannon that travels up and down and operable trap door.
