Details
The Tiger tank was introduced in August 1942 and was Germany's first heavy tank. An answer to the superior Soviet tanks encountered during Operation Barbarossa, the KV-1 heavy tank and the T-34 medium tanks. It featured heavy armour and was the first tank to mount the deadly 88mm gun. Although deadly in the field problems with a complicated and expensive design meant that only a small number of Tigers ever saw service.
The model is incredibly detailed and comes with a range of stowage, fuel cans, spare tracks and a commander.
