Tiger I (Early production)

Availability: Restock expected, available to order.

The Tiger tank was introduced in August 1942 and was Germany's first heavy tank. An answer to the superior Soviet tanks encountered during Operation Barbarossa, the KV-1 heavy tank and the T-34 medium tanks. It featured heavy armour and was the first tank to mount the deadly 88mm gun. Although deadly in the field problems with a complicated and expensive design meant that only a small number of Tigers ever saw service. The model is incredibly detailed and comes with a range of stowage, fuel cans, spare tracks and a commander. The tank featured has been painted by Neil at "Troop of Shewe".
