The Pro Arte Series 1A Kolinsky Sable is a great quality natural brush. Each brush head is hand tied by our team using pure Kolinsky Sable hairs – well renowned for their natural ability to hold and retain colour while still pulling to an extremely sharp point.

Designed for artists who demand absolute precision and control, these round brushes are great for painting anything from delicate, fine lines to broader strokes by adding pressure. The amount of colour these Kolinsky sables can hold make them great for details like continuous strokes, and with the larger sizes, larger washes and colour fills, or techniques such as painting wet-on-wet, glazing and gradients.

It can be cut to vary its height with small scissors .
It can be glued with PVA glue.
Different colours can be combined to achieve greater dynamism and colour variety.
Combining different heights and densities we will achieve really surprising results.
