Details

Æthelflæd, Lady of the Mercians! Eldest daughter of Alfred the Great, she ruled the Mercians for 8 years conducting various military campaigns against the invading Vikings as well as building a series of fortresses.

As is becoming tradition for the John Morris character sculpts, we have two variants, one “classical” pose, iconic as we know her from art and statues, and “fighter”, more practically equipped for the battlefield.

This is a pack of TWO 28mm scale miniatures. Supplied unpainted, some assembly may be required.

The hand carrying the spear will need drilling (though it is made very easy with indents) and the spear supplied is a strong wire spear from North Star. Be very careful with these! They look so much better than thick log spears or a sad bent/broke cast spear though.

Sculpted and display painted by John Morris.
